Sandra Jane Haynie (born June 4, 1943) is an American former professional golfer on the LPGA Tour. Haynie was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and showed early promise in the sport. In her amateur career, she displayed her talent by winning the 1957-58 Texas State Publinx and the 1958-59 Texas Amateur championships. She continued to showcase her prowess by capturing the 1960 Trans-Mississippi title.
In 1961, at the age of 18, Haynie turned professional and joined the LPGA Tour. Just a year later, at the age of 19, she secured her first professional title at the Austin Civitan Open. This victory propelled her into a successful career that would span several decades.
