Jill Bakken, born on January 25, 1977, is an American Olympic bobsledder who has left an indelible mark on the sport. She first entered the bobsledding world in 1994 and soon became a force to be reckoned with. Bakken’s dedication and skill as a driver propelled her to great heights, and her partnership with Vonetta Flowers resulted in a historic gold medal win in Bobsleigh at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
Bakken’s journey to Olympic glory was not without its share of challenges. Alongside her pursuit of excellence in bobsledding, she also served as a Specialist in the Utah Army National Guard.
