Best known for her work at Valve, Swift has left an indelible mark with her iconic games such as Portal and Left 4 Dead. Swift’s journey in the gaming world began at DigiPen, where she pursued her passion for video games. Along with a group of talented graduates, she embarked on the development of Narbacular Drop, a portal-based game that caught the attention of Valve. Gabe Newell, the co-founder of Valve, was impressed by their creation and personally offered the team a chance to bring their ideas to life at Valve.
Under Swift’s leadership, the team turned Narbacular Drop into the critically acclaimed game, Portal.
