Vaimasenu’u Zita Sefo-Martel, born on July 15, 1961, is a prominent Samoan women’s rights activist, fautasi skipper, and archer. She has made significant contributions to the realm of women’s rights, sports, and community development, and has represented Samoa at the Pacific Games. With her determination, leadership, and passion for empowering women, Zita Martel has become an influential figure in Samoan society.
Zita Martel pursued her education at Canterbury University, where she also excelled as a rower.
