Biography:
Raoua Tlili is a renowned Paralympian athlete from Tunisia, known for her exceptional achievements in the field of shot put and discus events. Born on October 5, 1989, Tlili has exhibited immense talent and determination throughout her career, becoming a multi gold medalist at the Paralympics.
Her journey in international athletics commenced in 2006 when she made her senior international debut. Tlili’s breakthrough came at the 2008 Summer Paralympics held in Beijing, China. Competing in the women’s shot put F40 event, she astounded the world by throwing a new world record distance of 8.95 meters, securing a gold medal. Additionally, she also clinched a silver medal in the women’s discus throw F40 event. Continuing her dominance, Tlili participated in the 2012 Summer Paralympics held in London, UK.
