Qiu’s journey in weightlifting began with her participation in the 2006 World Weightlifting Championships, where she demonstrated outstanding talent and determination.
At the 2006 Championships, Qiu showcased her exceptional skills by winning the gold medal in the women’s -58 kg class. She achieved this feat by snatching an impressive 107 kg and clean and jerking an additional 130 kg, totaling a remarkable 237 kg. This victory marked the beginning of Qiu’s illustrious career in weightlifting.
In the following year, Qiu once again proved her dominance in the sport by clinching another gold medal at the 2007 World Weightlifting Championships in the women’s -58 kg class. Her consistent success showcased her exceptional strength, technique, and dedication to the sport.
