Li Wenwen (Chinese: 李雯雯, Pinyin: Lǐ Wén-Wén) is a renowned Chinese weightlifter, Olympic Champion, World Champion, and Asian champion competing in the women’s +87 kg division. Born on March 5, 2000, Li Wenwen has made significant contributions to the field of weightlifting and has emerged as one of the most dominant athletes in her weight category.
Li’s rise to prominence began in 2019 when she showcased her exceptional talent at the IWF World Cup held in Fuzhou. Competing in the +87 kg category, she not only won silver medals but also set junior world records in the snatch, clean & jerk, and total lifts. Continuing her outstanding performance, Li Wenwen participated in the 2019 Asian Weightlifting Championships in the same weight category.
